Free Introductory Session
A simple taste of what CrossFit is all about. We will give you some background to CrossFit itself and introduce you to our Box. Thereafter we will teach you one or two movements and you will then use them in a sample workout. The class will last about 30 minutes, and will be just enough to wet your appetite.
The Fundamentals of CrossFit. Before you are let loose on a Class, we want to make sure that you have a basic understanding of the movements, technique and terminology. These two sessions will teach you how to perform the basic CrossFit movements with good technique and what specific technical flaws to look out for. We will certainly not teach you everything there is to know about CrossFit, but these sessions should make you feel more comfortable to step into a class. The 101 Classes will last 45 minutes, and will finish with a short workout to continue getting you accustomed to the way we do things.
These are our Standard CrossFit Classes. Once you have been through CrossFit 101, you will book yourself into these classes. These are 45 minute classes which normally consist of a warm-up, some skill work and mobility work, the WoD (Workout of the Day) and then a warm-down. These change every time you come to the box, and unless you are doing a benchmark workout you will never do the same workout twice so boredom is highly unlikely. Here is where the real fun begins.
